Located in Chillicothe, Ohio, these prehistoric mounds predate Cleopatra, Julius Caeser, and Jesus, according to their promo lit. They're very cool and larger than you'd imagine! Get your first glance between these trees.
Chillicothe is not too far from Marietta and has an amazing Blue Grass Festival every year (not this year), but is also less than an hour away from Pomeroy where Fur Peace Ranch owned by Jorma Kaukonen (Jefferson Airplane, Hot Tuna). The ranch is used as a guitar camp and also a concert venue.
